BUCHAREST: Almost 100 thousand people attended the military parade at the Arc de Triomphe
Over 2.400 Romanian soldiers and specialists from the defense and public order structures, as well as foreign soldiers, paraded under the Arc de Triomphe, together with over 150 military equipment, while dozens of planes and helicopters flew over the city.

Romania celebrates 105 years since the Great Union on Friday, and, traditionally, a large military parade was organized at the Arc de Triomphe.
Over 2.400 Romanian soldiers and specialists from the defense and public order structures, as well as foreign soldiers, paraded under the Arc de Triomphe, together with over 150 military equipment, while dozens of planes and helicopters flew over the city.
According to the Romanian Gendarmerie, about 100.000 people attended the military parade in the capital.
The Arc de Triomphe Square was flown over by formations of planes and helicopters belonging to the Ministry of National Defense. The aerial device was opened by an IAR 330 Puma helicopter, from the 90 Air Transport Base; and as a first, on top of the Arc de Triomphe, those present could watch a formation of Black Hawk helicopters, belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which are dedicated to the management of emergency situations. Also for the first time, two Learjet Bombardier planes were presented to the public, entered this year in the equipment of the General Aviation Inspectorate. It should be remembered that, this year, the weather was on the participants' side.
President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, members of the government, heads of institutions, representatives of the diplomatic corps, politicians and war veterans were present at the military parade in Bucharest.
