Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Friday that they will continue to offset energy bills. In this sense, the budgets of the Ministries of Labor and Energy include one billion lei each for the month of January, after which the account will be replenished, reports Agerpres.

He specified that the decision regarding the inclusion of these amounts in the budgets of the two ministries was taken in the government meeting on Thursday evening, in which the draft state budget for next year was adopted.

"Changes have been made so that 1 billion lei are included in the budget for the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Labor each for the month of January, which comes from the payment from the previous year - there is a delay, until ANRE checks the invoices. However, then, the account is replenished, it's a whole mechanism. So, the compensations will continue. I think we have the lowest prices, at least for households, in Europe at the moment", declared Marcel Ciolacu.
